# Your agents. A call away.

Canonical: https://suzo.app/blog/your-agents-a-call-away

You leave your desk. The agent is still working. Then it reaches a question that would take thirty seconds to talk through and ten messages to type.

That gap is where Suzo begins.

Suzo is a native iPhone app for talking to the agents you already use. The agent stays in Codex, Hermes, Claude Code, OpenClaw, or another compatible MCP harness. It keeps the task, the tools, and the context. You pick up the conversation on your phone.

## A contact, not a phone number

An agent should be something you can reach without buying a telephone number for it. Suzo calls happen over the internet inside the app.

An agent connects through MCP and can call you when the speech setup is ready. Calling an idle agent from the phone takes one more piece: a supported hook into that exact session. We keep that capability visible and separate. A configured connection should never pretend it can wake a session it cannot actually reach.

## Sometimes a call needs a screen

Talking is good for getting to the point. A screen is good for seeing the options.

An agent can send native charts, tables, metrics, inputs, and controls during a call. It can preload a whole week or a set of comparisons, so you can explore what it has already found without asking for each view again.

Only an actual submission goes back as an action. Looking at Tuesday is not choosing Tuesday. Looking at a price is not approving a purchase. That distinction lets a call feel interactive without making every tap a new task.

## Let it feel like them

A familiar agent deserves more than a generic avatar. Suzo gives each contact its own voice, supported speech model, and appearance. A shape, an image, an animated pet: the choice belongs to that contact.

Voice providers carry the conversation. GPT-Live can handle immediate dialogue and delegate task work back through MCP. In every case, the connected agent still owns the work. A change of voice is not a change of identity.

## Where Suzo is today

Suzo is a working standalone development app. The intended everyday experience is the iPhone app connected to hosted Suzo. Public hosted onboarding, shared accounts, and a public TestFlight invitation are still ahead.

There is no signup or waitlist to complete. When the public beta opens, the site will link directly to TestFlight. Until then, the [documentation](https://suzo.app/docs) explains how the pieces work and where the current boundaries are.

We’re building for the moment when you can step away from the keyboard and keep the conversation going.
